This Raymour & Flanigan showroom in a busy section of Brooklyn, NY known as Marine Park, was an excersize in urban renewal. Several underutilized and delapidated buidings on the site were removed to make way for a 70,000 square foot retail building on two floors with parking for 110 cars below the rear portion of the second floor. The main showroom for Raymour and Flanigan is upstairs on the second floor, comprising a 50,000 square foot store. The first floor was designed and built out to be a lease to other retailers that could better take advantage of a sidewalk store front. The store was completed around 2019 and took several years to complete due to the many governmental agency requirements that we had to go through.
