This project was conceived to explore the potentiality of a neighborhood revitalization and its connection to the rest of the city. The study looked at key strategies to embrace neighborhood policy for inner city lifestyle while at the same time tap resources that can be used in a positive way. The Near West side is at a turning point where there are many opportunities to utilize and integrate nearby resources; excess energy generated by pollutants in a nearby lake to recycle energy, bisecting thoroughfare to enhance the community’s presence and generate an environment that populates the inner core with activity.
